Great tips and advice to enjoy your holiday

Travelling can be exciting and scary all at once. You spend months thinking, planning and paying for your holiday…and suddenly it’s here.

Lisa Murray from Australia Trip Planner said: “Enjoy every part of your time away – that includes the good, the bad and the crazy bits. By having an itinerary to guide you, you can relax and get the most out of your holiday because you’ve already got the information handy.”

Follow these five basic tips to get the most out of your holiday:

  1. You’re on holidays so have a go at different activities. Chances are you’ll have a blast. Worst case scenario, you’ll have a laugh about it with family and friend when you get home.

  3. Don’t over-plan your holiday. Make sure you have time to chill out and do nothing while you’re on your break. Remember, you’re on holidays not running a marathon.

  4. Be flexible. If you planned on Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge one day but it’s pouring rain….take yourself off to a museum, movie or bowling instead so you don’t get soaked. The Bridge will still be there tomorrow.

  5. Don’t scrimp on yourself on your holiday. Whether it’s another tour or buying yourself a gift to remember your holiday, do it. You’ll only be disappointed afterwards, and you know what – you deserve it.
