Queensland’s islands are a great place to holiday

If you’re looking for an island holiday with a twist, head off to Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.

The Whitsundays has 74 tropical islands floating among the coral reef, and a few of these islands have been made into holiday resorts. The resort islands include Hayman, Hamilton, Daydream, and South Molle.

The Whitsundays is beautiful and tranquil and yet there’s so many different experiences to enjoy including adventure, relaxation or maybe a cultural experience. It’s a water-lovers paradise with activities including swimming, snorkeling, diving and sailing and has warm water so visitors can swim all-year round.

Further up from the Whitsundays is the beautiful Great Barrier Reef that has been named one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It has an amazing coral reef with a vast array of tropical fish and marine life.
