Family Friendly Brisbane

• Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s largest koala sanctuary, here you can cuddle koalas, hand feed kangaroos and encounter many more native animals in their natural habitats.
• Southbank is in the city, overlooking Brisbane River. It has museums, a huge parkland, a swimming beach, cinemas, restaurants and plenty of shopping. Also at Southbank is Qld Sciencentre – which is one of Brisbane’s fantastic museums filled with things to see and do, learning experiences, and permanent and changeable exhibitions.

• New Farm Park. Catch the City Cat across Brisbane River to New Farm Park, one of Brisbane’s inner city parks and home to an adventure playground and some of the best climbing trees! With heaps of open space and greenery there is plenty of room to bring a picnic and a football.
• The Planetarium where you can learn about the universe through the Skydome, Theatre, Observatory and Display zone. This is very entertaining and fun for the whole family.

• City Botanical Gardens is right in the city centre and has walking and bike tracks, playgrounds, picnic and barbeque areas and much more.
• Pick your own strawberries at The Berry Patch which is open to the public from June to November.
• Robelle Domain is located in the western suburbs of Brisbane and is 24 hectares of adventure! There is a water park, interactive playground, tree top walks, picnic areas, exhibition gardens, a cafe and much more.

• Bricks N Fun is a Lego specialty store with great displays, a build room, and an under 5's to play area.
• Go carting at Kingston Park Raceway, or have a game of putt putt.
• Laser Force  is an indoor, two storey playing arena with a light show.

  has indoor trampolines suitable for all ages and are loads of fun.
• Strike Bowling Bar
   has bowling, laser tag and karaoke.
• Iceworld Skating Rink is an Olympic sized rink so you can test out your skills.

Moreton Island & Tangalooma Resort

Just off the Coast of Brisbane is the beautiful Moreton Island which is perfect for camping, four-wheel driving, sand tobogganing, fishing, snorkeling the wrecks, catamaraning and swimming.

If you're not into camping, stay at Tangalooma Resort where you can also hand-feed the local dolphin community each night.
